Have you ever been in FALLAS?

Fallas is the most amazing FIESTA in Spain, a Fireworks Festival and it takes place in Valencia City. During one week in March, usually from 15th March until 19th you can enjoy night and daylights events.

The whole city is full of lights, sound, music, colours and fire!!!

Fallas Fireworks

Every day during Fallas you can enjoy amazing fireworks every night at 12:00 pm in the old River: Turia.

The old river Turia is big gardens crossing Valencia where all Fallas fireworks take place, usually at 12:00 pm but sometimes are later.

Mascletás in Fallas

Beautiful daylight Fireworks called “Mascletás”, a melody of firecrackers and colours over a blue sky are one of the main Fallas events. Every day from 1^st March in Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Main Hall Square) at 2 pm you can enjoy this firecrackers event.

You have to come at least one hour in advance for enjoying such nice event because usually is full of people.

Falleras in Fallas

“Ofrenda” is a must see during Fallas.

In Ofrenda beautiful Falleras (women dressed with Fallera dress) offer flowers to Virgin. It is a religious tradition typical in Fallas, Flowers and colours everywhere!!!!!

Fallera dress is very colourful and heavy, some of them are 10 kilograms weight.

Lights Contest in Fallas

All streets are full of lights!!!!!! Some are really spectacular!!! There is a lights contest and the winner is just amazing!!!!!!

Fallas Fire

See How Fallas burns, every street is just burning!!

Fallas are huge monuments made by wood, cardboard and papier maché. Some of them are really huge: 20 meters height and expensive around 200,000 euros.

The last day of Fallas: 19^th March all Fallas burn in every street, just in the city of Valencia there are around 400 Fallas, so image all of them burning!!! The whole city of Valencia burns!!!
