Along the beaches of the city you will find chiringuitos, volley ball courts, schools of paddle surf, soccer fields to play with your friends.  Valencia’s beaches

Taking Valencia´s Port as reference, just beside it is the nearest beach to the town, in fact it is just in the town. The beach of Las Arenas. The most known..Between la Marina Juan Carlos I (leisure port) and La Malvarrosa. A very fine sandy beach, perfect for swimming. It´s the beginning of the long Paseo Marítimo and crowded with typical restaurants where you can enjoy all types of rice recipes.

Following this walk towards north we have the Malvarrosa beach, the most famous.Adapted for disabled people and with S.O.S services. It is for its lenght the site for an internacional aereal festival and facilities for children. In Fallas time and in July July Fair) it´s the place where great fireworks take place. It was part of the 32 America´s Cup edition, as a race site.

Then it is the Patacona beach, a saved beach not many time ago, Wide and with the perfect sea to enjoy. It has high quality restaurants and services too.

And to the north, there is Port Saplaya beach, known as the valencian Venecia because of its channels around the port towards the sea. Shoping center, leisure places, cafes and restaurants are one of its added attractions.

The southern beaches are Pinedo and Saler beaches, both of them awarded the blue flag, an european distinctive that makes them highly recomendable beaches. Pinedo, now a reconquered beach for swimming, with sands and best quality sea water and El Saler, maybe the best in lenght and services. It´s famous because it´s wonderful nature surroundings ( limiting with La Albufera, in its Parque Natural borders), its dunes and long fine sands beaches. These beaches witnessed too the 2007 America´s Cup races in its south area.
